Scout
The entry rank of the Troop where youth learn basic knots, the Scout Oath, and the Law.
Tenderfoot
Focuses on basic outdoor skills, physical fitness, and becoming an active member of the patrol.
Second Class
Intermediate skills in navigation, survival, and first aid are developed as the scout grows more capable.
First Class
Signifies a scout has mastered all basic scouting skills and is ready to start leading others.
