At Scouting Unit 828, camping is the heart of our program. We believe that true character is forged under the stars and around a campfire. Our annual cycle provides scouts with a diverse range of environments and challenges, ensuring every season brings a new opportunity for growth, service, and high-adventure friendship.

Fall Campout
October 17-19 • Pine Ridge Forest. A weekend of hiking through autumn colors and fire-building skills.
Winter Camp
January 23-25 • Northern Peaks. Cabin camping with a focus on winter survival and indoor fellowship.
Spring Camporee
April 10-12 • Valley Crossing. Multi-unit competition and outdoor skills showcase for all ages.
Summer Camp
July 5-11 • Crystal Lake Scout Reservation. Six nights of swimming, sailing, and merit badge achievements.
